A Bumble Bee Baby Shower

Event Design: You're Welcome Events
Photography: Beach City Photo
Flowers: Pink Daffodil

This intimate bumble bee baby shower celebrated the mom-to-be in style using khaki, cream, and royal blue tones. Guests were welcomed in style with white felt flower lapel pins with their names written in cursive.
The name tags encouraged conversation and doubled as a nice keepsake. A tall cream floral spray with manzanita branches graced the welcome table and complimented the large vaulted ceilings of the foyer.
Simple and chic were the theme of the guest tables. We chose a soothing khaki table linen which made the royal blue linen napkins pop. The soon to be grandparents own a winery in Napa and provided varietals of white wine.
Pink Daffodil did a phenomenal job with the flowers. The hints of green in the cream floral sprays added dimension and texture. Each vase was wrapped in a chocolate brown satin ribbon.
Guests sat on large comfy leather chairs. The menu was tucked inside a diaper napkin fold secured with large safety pin. Everyone took home honey party favors complete with a honey dipper and "Mommy to Bee" signage.
When it's time for snacking, guests choose from 3 gourmet appetizers provided by the wonderful chef at SeaCliff Country Club. Appetizers included delicious filo wrapped asparagus, caprese, and tasty ahi cucumber bites. The dishes were tray passed so guests could socialize without crowding the appetizer station.
When it's dessert time - and that's quite often around here - we think taste and presentation go hand in hand. Our priority is to delivery delicious treats that taste as good as they look. That's why we love working with Jennifer at Plumeria Cake Studio. She's great to work with and always does a wonderful job!
Activities and games were placed throughout the venue allowing guests to participate at their leisure. Activities included advice and well wishes for the parents to be. Games included: guess how many bumble bees are in the jar and the price is right. The adorable prizes were wrapped in natural paper and decorated with a royal blue ribbon and topped with an adhesive bumble bee embellishment.
Guests took home these adorable "bumble gum" party favors that stood beautifully in tall clear tubes. These are both fun and flavorful.

Positive inspiring signaged was placed throughout the venue.
The father-to-be is a race car driver so this custom onesie seemed like the perfect fit for the new baby.
