A Princess Party

A Royal Baby Shower for Twin Girls

When my sweet client asked me to design a princess themed baby shower for twin girls, I immediately envisioned colors of gold and pearl with hints of pink. I wanted guests to feel like they were walking into a royal fairytale. The celebration was held at a private clubhouse in Mission Viejo, California. For the WOW factor, a single cloud hung over each guest table. Combined with the venues high vaulted ceilings, the clouds gave the room a dramatic effect. Instead of raindrops, gold glitter crowns and gold glitter hearts fell from each cloud.
Guests were greeted with a fun welcome sign with a play on words.
Desserts were provided by (the fabulous) Plumeria Cake Studio and included cake shooters, cupcakes, mini cupcakes, cookies, and an adorable 2 tiered cake to cut.
I just love the gold cake stands with intricate detailing. They're so luxurious and elegant.
The buffet was draped in gold tablecloth accented with delicate pink lace overlays with elaborate floral embellishments. The chaffing dishes were dressed in folded gold and pink linen napkins.

The centerpiece had various shades of pink with cream and white florals.
Signature PartyRentals provided the gold chiavari chairs, linen, and fine china. Guests feasted from pearl colored plates with gold trim. The beverage glasses were lined with gold. Adorable light pink linen napkins were folded like bows and secured with a pearls.
Each place setting had pink caramel popcorn in "ready to pop" containers.
A large backdrop made of white rosette flowers and draping pink linen made for a great photo opportunity for guests.
Guests enjoyed the upbeat tunes of Sandro Razciel who captivated the crowd by providing fun and lively entertainment.
For party favors, guest chose either a bowtie or baby pink nail polish.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Remember to keep calm and party like a princess!
